“The best part of life is when your family become your friends and your friends become your family.” – Robin Roberts
As the summer exits and the crisp, fall air approaches, I am taking time to reflect back on my favorite moment from summer 2016. On Friday, August 12, 2016 around 6 o’clock in the evening, the summer sun was shining bright in the park outside Joyce’s Fine Jewelry as our dearest family members, friends, partners and customers began to gather for our 2nd Annual Summer Soiree “Party in the Park” benefiting Fayette Friends of Animals. The atmosphere, for the entire duration of the Party in the Park, could be described using a few of my favorite jewelry adjectives – simple, polished and timeless. Neubauer’s Flowers, Inc created the simple, but elegant floral arrangements and décor. The polished tunes of The Cordaro’s and Dr. Zoot and the Suits filled the park throughout the night where the guests were enjoying delicious bites complements of Cleanslate Catering, Myers Catering, Cupcakerie and Kona Ice. Also, the guests loved activities such as cigar rolling by Leccia Tobacco and caricature pictures by Jeff Harris. However, most importantly, the Summer Soiree was timeless this year because of the absolutely best customers, partners, friends and especially family in the world, including one new additional this year… James Joseph Katzeff.
On July 1, Rachel, Sara Kate and I welcomed James Joseph Katzeff into the world and our party in the park was the first event we were able to share as a family. Spending this night with my perfect son, my loveable, sassy daughter Sara Kate and my gorgeous wife Rachel, was certainly timeless and heart-warming.
I cannot thank everyone enough for repeatedly showing us unconditional support, loyalty and love and for celebrating another summer with us. You are all truly family to us. We are looking forward to seeing everyone at our Charles Krypell event on October 13th & 14th, but until then, our door is always open for you to come see us and take a look at our latest collections.
