The Omega Speedmaster, built for Speed, proven on the Race Track.

Introducing Speed
The new Omega Speedmaster Co-Axial Master Chronometer is our Watch Master’s most recent and favorite watches at Joyce’s. The Speedmaster originates from the Racing Collection, hence our lego race car driver friend.   This watch has the classic Speedmaster look with the black Tachymetre and chronograph but has the sporty and fun white dial with orange accents.  The border of the dial has a checkered pattern, similar to racing flags. This watch shows the true heritage of the Speedmaster “With a racing dial inspired by the past and the latest in technology, this Speedmaster collection is in gear for a new generation of fans.”(Omega)

Compare & Contrast
When people hear Omega Speedmaster, they think moon…. The Omega Speedmaster Moonphase Watch, also sold at Joyce’s. The new Co Axial Master Chronometer has more history, dating back to before landing on the Moon. The Moonphase collection follows the phases of the moon. The Co-Axial is a bit more simple, less complicated! Zach explains “White dials are rare on the Speedmaster, they mostly have dark dials. It’s a fresh take on a more traditional watch”. The Co-Axial is well known on the Race Track and the Moonphase is well known on a lunar surface.

METAS- What does it mean?
The Speedmaster Co-Axial Watch is METAS Certified. Omega tests each watch and certifies each watch before it leaves the factory. They do not participate in batch testing like other brands do. This means a higher quality product with greater accuracy!  Driven by the calibre 9900/9901, the watch and its movement have reached the Swiss industry’s highest standard of precision, performance and magnetic resistance, as approved by the Swiss Federal Institute of Meteorology.
