Our History
Joyce’s Jewelry, a family business founded in the 1970s by Joyce Katzeff, was inspired by shopping trips with her mother, which fostered Joyce’s love of fashion. Joyce was allergic to all metals except gold—a circumstance that inspired her to craft her own jewelry from the finest materials. Her talent soon evolved into a successful at-home business, where early clients enjoyed an inviting ambiance, which welcomed them with coffee and encouraged the sharing of stories. In 1989, she opened an 1,800 square-foot store in Uniontown, PA, and her husband, David, set aside his wholesale jewelry business to join her full-time.

Their son, Brandon, became part of the team in 2007 after earning a degree in finance, training as a GIA Graduate Gemologist and studying jewelry design and manufacturing around the world. Brandon helped expand Joyce’s to a 7,000 square-foot location in Uniontown in 2009. Together, the family has grown Joyce’s into the region’s premier jewelry store, while always prioritizing fine jewelry and exceptional service.
